PAOLO FERRARIO, Managing Director

Mr. Paolo Ferrario is the Managing Director of Augent Partners. From 2010 to 2013 Paolo was a Director of Capital Dynamics following the business development activities on the Italian market. From 2010 to 2013 he was also a Partner of the infrastructure fund RAEF III. In the past 17 years, has worked as Private Equity Investment Director of a prominent Italian family office, as a EMEA Director for the Finance BPO services in Hewlett-Packard Company, as Senior Engagement Manager for the strategy consulting team of Microstrategy, as a Senior Consultant in Andersen Consulting advising corporations worldwide on strategy, operations and corporate finance. He started his career in the business planning office of Asea Brown Boveri and as assistant of the CEO of Eutron SpA – ITEMA Group. Paolo holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Milan Polytechnic and a Master Innovation and Business Administration, with distinction, from MIP School of Management of Milan Polytechnic.

MARCELLO AGNOLI, Senior Advisor

Marcello Agnoli was Managing Partner of Pavia e Ansaldo from 1982 until 2005. In 2005 he was the Founding Partner of Agnoli Bernardi e Associati and he has been Honorary Partner at Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati since 2008, further to their integration with Agnoli Bernardi e Associati. He is now Senior Consultant at  the Agnoli e Giuggioli Law firm. He is a civil lawyer with extensive experience in the fields of M&A and other corporate finance transactions, insurance and real estate. He has represented many prominent Italian and foreign companies and financial institutions. He served and still serves as director in a number of Italian companies (some listed on stock exchange)among the others: Alcoa Italia S.p.a., Dupont Italia S.p.a., Aviva Italia S.p.a. (Aviva Group), Permasteelisa S.p.a., Classis Capital SIM S.p.a., Governance Consulting S.r.l., Fondazione DNART and Cassa di Risparmio di Asti S.p.A. He is licensed as a foreign legal consultant in the State of New York (1997). He is also a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), of Non Executive Directors (NED Community) and in mentioned by WHO’S WHO Leading Lawyers.

FRANCO QUILLICO, Senior Advisor

Mr. Franco Quillico received an MS Summa Cum Laude in electrical engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan, in 1979. In 1984 he graduated with a Master in Business Administration in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded the Beta Gamma Sigma Scholarship Award for achieving the highest academic performance. 
Following on from an experience in the industrial sector, his professional career has focused on strategy consulting, with McKinsey & Company and Bain Italy, and on investment banking, with Salomon Smith Brothers. 
Mr. Quillico has advised clients in various industries, such as: banking, information services, computers, chemicals, real estate, construction materials, machine tools, automotive, railroad, utilities, air courier, textiles, printing, food processing, fast food, entertainment; across many different countries: Italy, England, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Monaco, Switzerland and the United States. 
Franco is a Professor of Banking and Finance at MIP, the School of Management of the Polytechnic of Milan, visiting lecturer at the Wharton School, Professor of Mergers & Acquisitions at the International University of Monaco.
